Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data is involved when you use AS9102 to Excel at as9102toexcel.com, and what happens to it.
1. Your documents are not collected
The converter works entirely inside your browser using JavaScript. Documents you drop in, paste or produce are never transmitted to us and are never stored on a server we operate. We have no technical ability to access, retrieve or delete them, because they never leave your device.
You can verify this yourself: open your browser developer tools, choose the Network tab, and process a document. No request carries your content.
2. What is stored in your browser
The tool uses your browser's local storage to remember state between visits. This stays on your device and is not sent to us.
| Stored | Why | Sent to us? |
|---|---|---|
| Your in-progress rows | So a refresh does not lose your work | No |
| Free-allowance counter | To count pages used this month | No |
| Licence state | So a paid subscription stays unlocked | No |
| A random device identifier | To enforce the device limit on a subscription | Yes, to our verification service — it contains no personal information |
You can clear all of it at any time through your browser's site-data settings.
3. What we do collect
- Purchase information. When you subscribe, Paddle collects your name, email, billing address, payment details and any tax identifiers, and passes us a transaction record so we can provide support and keep accounting records. Card numbers are handled by Paddle and are never visible to us.
- Support correspondence. If you email us, we hold your message and address in order to reply.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request logs such as IP address, browser and requested URL, for security and abuse prevention.
4. What we do not do
- We do not collect, read, process or store your documents.
- We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels or cross-site tracking.
- We do not sell or rent personal data.
- We do not require an account to use the converter.
5. Who we share with
- Paddle — payment processing and merchant of record.
- Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery and security.
- Our email provider — to send and receive support mail.
- Authorities — where the law requires it.
We do not pass personal data to anyone for their own marketing.
6. How long we keep it
Transaction records are kept as long as tax law requires. Support correspondence is kept for up to two years. Server logs are kept for a short period. Local storage stays on your device until you clear it.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, or to receive your data in a portable form. Email [email protected] and we will respond within the period the law requires.
One thing worth knowing: if your request concerns a document you processed, we cannot delete it, because we never had it. It exists only in your browser and you can clear it yourself.
You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Security
The strongest protection here is structural: because documents never leave your device, there is no server-side copy to breach. The site is served over HTTPS, and payment data is handled by Paddle.
9. Cookies
We set no advertising or tracking cookies. The local storage described in section 2 is strictly functional. Our payment provider may set cookies within its own checkout flow.
10. Children
This is a business tool and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top will change.
